Neil,
Thank you very much for the gorgeous photos of our grandson Bram. They are super! We were very impressed with your creativity and thoughtfulness while photographing. The expressions you captured of Bram bring a smile every time we look at them!
Best regards,
Josh and Jill Leon
As the father of two, as well as “crazy uncle Neil” to my friend’s children – not to mention experience with all the children I’ve already photographed – I love getting a true portrait of children. One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is to just be patient. You don’t have to get a shot in two minutes flat. The best pictures come with time, and I’m happy to spend the time to get the shot. And if “today” isn’t the right day, I’m happy to reschedule – at no extra charge. A great portrait of your son or daughter is something that will literally be enjoyed for generations – so I’m never in a rush to just “get a shot.”
By the way, don’t tell children to “say cheese” – it gets the wrong type of smile. “Booger” and similar words work much better.
