Senior (Grad) Models
Senior Models needed for your school

Senior Style Portrait
There’s a new style of “grad photos” coming to Canada – and we’re pleased to be among the select Canadian photographers providing these unique and fun images to seniors like yourself. (And yes, that’s high school senior, not senior citizen.)
For many years its been a fixture of the grad photo scene “in that country south of us” – and now you can get images that reflect who you are, right now, at a time when you are on the cusp of one of the biggest changes you’ll experience in your life. You are going from that teen “kid” to being a full grown adult. Right now.
What Speers Photography would like to do is help you record and celebrate this change in life.
The images you deserve will be about who you are now and who you are becoming – your sports, interests, talents; everything that makes up your personality.
What is the Models Program?
Okay – the raw truth, we need Grade 12 Grads (and Grad 11 students getting ready for their final year at school) to promote these photos to friends at school. Its not hard, our Models get a free photo session, and then hand out wallet sized prints to friends, and if those friend book a session, the Models gets credits towards albums and enlargements. Again, these are shots your parents never dreamed of having when they were in school.
Who will these Models be?
This city is too big for us to cover the whole thing, so the students chosen to be Senior Models will live on the west side of Calgary north of the Glenmore Reservoir anywhere between Westhills and Stoney Trail, attending their local high schools. They will be active in activities, clubs, sports, school politics, or other socially active rolls. They’ll be gregarious, fun and interested in 0ther people.
Depending on the size of the school, we’ll be choosing up one or two males and one or two females to represent us at your school.
How do you get to be an Senior Model for YOUR school.
First of all, consider both the benefits and the work that will go into doing this. If you’re not sure you want to put in the work to make this a successful program, then take a pass – we don’t want anyone getting stressed out because of this. Then talk it over with your parent(s) or guardian(s) – they’ll be involved in every step of the program when you’re working with Speers Photography. We do require one or more parents or guardians at each meeting and photo shoot.
Think you can handle all that? Then send us an email at neil (at) albertaportrait.com and tell us you’re interested, what activities you are involved in and how feel you’d contribute to the success of this program. You can also call me at 403.230.4042.
